Description
AOD-9604 is a 16-amino-acid analogue of the C-terminus of human growth hormone (hGH 176-191), engineered to isolate the fat-metabolising domain without the somatogenic and diabetogenic effects of full-length hGH.
Mechanism: Stimulates lipolysis and inhibits lipogenesis through a non-receptor-mediated pathway distinct from classical GH signalling, leaving IGF-1 levels unchanged.
Research findings: Clinical-grade studies in obese adults reported favourable safety and tolerability profiles. Investigators have explored its application in obesity, cartilage repair, and osteoarthritis research because of its dual lipolytic and chondroprotective signatures.
Handling: Lyophilized peptide. Store sealed at -20°C for long-term stability or 2-8°C short-term. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water or 0.6% acetic acid as appropriate to the molecule.
For research purposes only. Not for human consumption. This material is intended exclusively for in-vitro laboratory and preclinical research applications conducted by qualified personnel.
