Description

CJC-1295 with DAC incorporates a Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) maleimide linker that covalently binds plasma albumin, extending the molecule’s plasma half-life from minutes to days.
Mechanism: Albumin binding protects against renal clearance and enzymatic degradation. Produces sustained GHRH receptor activation rather than pulsatile signalling, generating an elevated baseline GH and IGF-1 plateau.
Research findings: Phase 1/2 trials reported dose-dependent IGF-1 elevations lasting 6+ days from a single dose. Used as a reference long-acting GHRH analogue in GH-axis duration-of-action research.
Handling: Lyophilized peptide. Store sealed at -20°C for long-term stability or 2-8°C short-term. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water or 0.6% acetic acid as appropriate to the molecule.
