Description
Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide ghrelin mimetic and selective growth hormone secretagogue (GHS-R1a agonist).
Mechanism: Activates ghrelin receptors on pituitary somatotrophs to release GH in pulses, with minimal effect on cortisol, prolactin or aldosterone – a cleaner profile than older GHRPs.
Research findings: Investigated in human pharmacology studies for selective GH release without confounding hormonal elevations. Frequently paired with GHRH analogues (Sermorelin, CJC-1295, Tesamorelin) in synergistic GH-axis research protocols.
Handling: Lyophilized peptide. Store sealed at -20°C for long-term stability or 2-8°C short-term. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water or 0.6% acetic acid as appropriate to the molecule.
For research purposes only. Not for human consumption. This material is intended exclusively for in-vitro laboratory and preclinical research applications conducted by qualified personnel.
